January 26th, 2010
Getting ready for the road again... returning to the UK, BE, and NL for a little month long tour. Starting with Feb. 24th, the Musician in Leicester. Very excited to be opening for Jill Sobule for several dates in the UK. Also excited to play in Amsterdam for the first time... have several live radio shows there too. Not much time for sightseeing, but i will try, darn it:)
Just sent my newly mastered "summertime songs" and "winter warmers" cd's off to press, so I will have them with me when i go. a big thanks to all who helped make it happen, especially joel martin of Arc of Noise (LA, CA) who spent weeks recording, editing, mixing and mastering over his christmas break... i am so grateful. Renting the 5k vintage mic was good fun for recording vox. good idea Joel:) And to all my lovely musician friends in LA and the UK who added such wonderful creativity and musical voices to it all... Catherine, Joe, Darryl, Charlene, Jon, Nick, Matt, Brennan, Kaitlyn, and Fletch:)
For now, staying dry in a rainy Los Angeles and experimenting with my autoharp, glock, loops and kolumba... time to play:)

- Tour has been lovely so far. Really enjoyed playing with Caroline Martin (www.myspace.com/carolinemartinsmalldog) on Friday night in Bath... we will play again this Friday night in Bristol at the Folkhouse, for those of you who missed the Bath show. Ib hansen from Sweden (www.myspace.com/ibhansen) will play too...will be a great night of music!
On to play Brussels Tuesday at the beautiful Botanique supporting my label mates, Coming Soon... then on to Liege Weds. Cannot wait to play in Belgium again:)
